The purpose of this assignment is to measure your mastery of those conventions by putting your knowledge to practice. The objective of the essay is to convey information to the reader; most importantly, an expository essay is an exploration of a topic, and the tone is explanatory. After choosing your topic, you will need to choose the form that is most appropriate to fit the topic: cause and effect, problem and solution, or sequential. A thesis statement, which contains the paper’s argument, will be appropriate to the form you choose.

Process: For the expository essay, you will complete the following steps:

1. Choose a topic.

2. Create a plan of action.

3. Research the topic.

4. Choose the organization of your essay: Choose between cause and effect, problem and solution, or sequential organization types.

5. Create a thesis statement.

6. Write the essay.

Stylistic details: All essays must meet the following requirements:

  • Include 1000-1500 words.
  • Write in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font.
  • Include one-inch margins on all sides.
  • Use double spacing (top-to-bottom every page, to include above and below titles and centered words).

Introduction
Diverse issues, which have created a very difficult setting for human, have significantly
influenced the global environment and living organizations since there have been significant
risks, which have created a very difficult global environment sustainability. Therefore, a key
topic that will form the basis of this expository survey is global warming. The risks within the
environment are very many although an important aspect to consider in this case is that these
challenges can be effectively countered since humans cause most of these issues. Understanding
the causal agents of global warming will help understand the effects as well as important
strategies that can be put in place control the increasing rates of global warming.
Global warming is the increase in the earth’s average temperature due to greenhouse
gases effect. These gases include carbon dioxide, methane, and Nitrous oxide. Other factors
include deforestation, or burning fossil fuels. This paper discusses various causes of global
warming and its impact to the ecosystem. The concentration of carbon dioxide available in the
atmosphere presently is much higher than at any particular point in the past 800,000 years.
United States presumably emit approximately six billion tons of carbon dioxide in the
atmosphere each year and of these, forty percent comes from the power plant emissions only.
