George Walton Lucas is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and director. He
was born on May 14, 1944, and he has been active in the American filmmaking industry since
1965 to date. He is the founder of the famous, valuable and popular Indiana Jones and Star Wars
Franchises. George Lucas connects to two major film styles. One of them is the Classical
Hollywood Cinema after the coming of sound from 1926 to 1950. The other one is the New
Hollywood and Independent Filmmaking which started in the early 1970’s to the late 1980’s.
