This personal style inventory is a version of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). MBTI suggests that our personalities have four dimensions and this inventory will assess your tendencies within each of these dimensions. An explanation of these dimensions can be found in the content area of the D2L.

You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (12%)
Based on the Personal Style Inventory, my personality type is ENFJ with scores of
19% Extraversion, 9% Intuition, 22% Feeling, and 12% Judging.
Energy Dimension: The scores for the personality traits are as follows: Extraversion
(E ) 19 %
I have a very slight inclination towards extra-version, I like being with other people
and getting a little energy from other people but I also like being alone at times. For instance,
I like engaging in group discussions and initiating discussions while on the other end, I do not
Like large group events. I also maintain large and small social activities to reduce stressful
moments.
Attention Dimension: N: Intuition – rating 9 bracelets.
Since Intuition is slightly higher than that of Sensing, it means that I tend to have my
concentration towards the possibilities of the future rather than making full concentration on
the physical aspects of the current world. I do tend to have the tendency for perceiving plans
3
and goals as well as considering multiple scenarios, however I can also remain focused on the
current circumstances. Thus, this type of balance helps me to plan my actions and consider
some plans and scenarios, but at the same time, respond to many emergencies and urgent
matters.
Decision-Making Dimension:: Feeling (F) Score 22%
As for the fourth dichotomy, I favour Feeling a little above Thinking, which means
that I value values and emotions in the decision-making process. I do not forget how my
decision will affect those near me and make sure that everything is okay in my social
interactions. For example, whenever I am making decisions, I try to act kindly and make sure
people’s actions are right for both the workplace and myself; as well as the rest of the time, I
act kindly and try to make the environment a good one.
Organisation Dimension: Judging (J) – Score:12%
A slightly dominating Judging attitude means that I prefer some order and planning in
my life at the same time, I can easily ‘bend the rules’ when it is required. I always strive to
schedule and make decisions with some level of risk minimization although I am willing to
change my ideas if needed. Such flexibility allows me to effectively and easily change things
around while making sure I remain as organised and structured as possible.
Relating To Others
Energy Dimension: Personality dimension 1: Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I)
One’s friend is more shy and more likely to prefer being alone or with a small
company and in close circles, as a rule. They are what I like to do: go out and greet people,
make friends, meet new people and do what she likes least, staying home alone or with
4
several friends at the most. In interactions with her, I dominate the conversation which
enables her to get a feel of the interaction without feeling pressured.
Attention Dimension: Intuition (N) / Sensing (S)
Another family member of mine is less creative and more practical and here and now
oriented that makes him belong to the Sensing dimension. I read him as a person who focuses
on possibilities and trends while he likes to handle facts and actual setting. This difference
means that while I am always calling on him to bring me back to earth and help me keep my
feet on the ground so to speak he is always calling on me to help him see the big picture.
Decision-Making Dimension: This test is based on the two major dimensions of
personality namely, Feeling (F) and Thinking (T).
