All students joining college have the ability to succeed, despite the number of challenges
they may face along the way. Dr. Jeanne points out that the following needs to be done in order
for students to succeed in colleges.. One needs to define their strength, find the correct tools, set
and complete their goals, aim at problem-solving and expand their hopeful thinking.The setting
of goals involves all the best that can be done. Students in the GIA programme have been found
to display improved academic performance as well as psychological well-being. The GIA
programme has been recognized in California system as an outstanding programme for
undergraduates. It helps one develop new skills and manage abstract academic concepts.
Additionally, a sense of belonging is developed on campus management of problems even
coming from families serving too to improve the motivation to learn at higher levels.
Hope focus is a fundamental aspect of success. It is the feeling to overcome obstacles.
Tranh, for instance, had a lot of trouble fitting in every setup. Obtaining a satisfactory grade was
easy before he joined college. He, however, got depressed after he scored a D in a genetics exam.
