Purpose
This Standard Operating Procedure describes how to make requests for regulatory
changes to be forwarded to the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental, and
Intellectual Disabilities that exists. This document will provide a well-coordinated workflow
structure to fulfill department rules and other laws and organize communication between all
stakeholders participating in the regulation modification process.
Scope
This SOP applies to all divisions across the company at DBHDID. It defines division
leadership, Regulations Coordinator, and department leadership roles in reviewing and approving
the regulation change requests. This SOP has been prepared with the vision of attaining optimum
efficiency in the functioning of the regulatory process with clear-cut codes of conduct incumbent
on all participants.
