Internal environment of an organization is composed of features within the organization,
including management, current employees and especially corporate culture, which expresses the
behavior of the employees. The most crucial element of an organization is the mission statement.
An organization mission statement defines the purpose of the organization and why it exists. It
explains the attributes that distinguish an organization from other organization of its type.
Cogent communications as a business has defined mission and vision statement,
objectives and values that help to express its main purpose as an organization. Some of the
values that have made Cogent Communication to prevail include the commitment and dedication
to its clients which is founded on the belief that its success is dependent on the success of their
client. Also, the business is dedicated to deliver what the clients want and at the right time
(Gallupe & Jiang, 2015). Cogent strive to ensure that all the employees are treated as the most
valuable asset by providing them with a respectful and supportive environment with challenging
and meaningful work and opportunity to acquire valuable skills.
The success of Cogent Communications is as a result of great extent on the skill, attitude,
commitment and capabilities of its employees. Considering it is difficult for the top management
