I believe that human sexuality is the expression of intimacy arousal or sexual sensation
between human beings. In the context of psychology, human sexuality can be described as the
means to fully show love between people of different or same gender. On other perspectives,
human sexuality can also be referred to as the process through which children are conceived, and
generations continued; that is, human sexuality plays a fundamental role in creating a sustainable
environment. Human sexuality is, therefore, a broad topic that involves the mind, body, and
spirit of an individual hence must be perceived and understood with great insight.
Human sexuality is dependent on both physiological and psychological principles
because they concurrently influence sexual arousal in human beings and also contribute to the
other sexual factors. To understand human sexuality with more profound insight, it is essential to
understand the physiological functioning of the body. Human sexuality begins with the secretion
of various hormones in different body parts and other physical reactions in the human body. To
understand the aspect of physiological impact better, I reflect on my life, and it is crystal clear
that my body plays a fundamental role in dictating my sexuality as a human being. However, to
have a full understanding of human sexuality, it is critical and essential that one strives to grasp
the psychological perspective of the sexuality. Psychological understanding of human sexuality
is necessary because even though sexual activities are physical, they are significantly affected by
