The student learning contract is you fill in boxes, not write full pages.
One way to approach this is
- Start with the tasks you give or will learn to do. This can include client meetings, assessments, follow-ups, and referrals. Clients include individuals, families, groups, and communities. What are the other tasks that you do or will do? Include documentation, use of technology, oral and written communication, observing others, staff meetings, supervision, training, research, and projects.
- Include tasks in this course, such as the presentation to the seminar in Lesson/Week 11. Are there any outside tasks you will be doing that are related, such as attending a school board meeting or a conference related to your placement? Identify 2-3 tasks you can do away from the agency if the agency is closed or you cannot be present. This could be a self-study, but it must be pre-approved by your field instructor and faculty.
