The House of Marshland: Theme of Trauma
Gluck published the novel, “The House of Marshland” in 1975 with the most
important theme of ‘Gretel in Darkness’ (King 45). The novel explores sorrow, grief and
terror through the historic story that feature “Hansel and Gretel”. According to Rika
