Asexual reproduction offers the room for rapid populating as more offspring are reproduced
quickly from one parent when conditions are favorable for reproduction. Also, asexual
reproduction does not need mobility as organisms can reproduce in just a single area. The ones
who move to other places can create offspring on their own. In asexual reproduction, there is no
mate required which makes it easy to multiply. Finding a mate for organisms in desolated
environments can be difficult, and the ability to reproduce without mates makes it easy to
reproduce and multiply. Also, large numbers of organisms mean that the species have high
chances of survival even when the conditions are not favorable. An organism would evolve to
use asexual reproduction when their conducive environment for such and its population is on the
brink of extinction (Diffen, 2014).
