exceptional in some states such as Nevada where prostitution has been legalized. The
government of the state is given the task of permitting, regulating and allowing commercial sex.
It is clear that many states in America categorize prostitution as a public crime. Muslims and
Christians are the majority religions in America and all regard prostitution as an evil act. They
state that the act should not be condoned in the society (García, 2016).
New Zealand
New Zealand has legalized prostitution. In this country, brothel-keeping is legal.
Commercial sex is allowed. The country passed the law legalizing prostitution in the year 2003.
