Employee unions are necessary for the employees of organizations due to various
reasons. Most of the rights and freedoms that the employees are currently enjoying are due to the
work of the labor unions. The labor unions are playing a very significant role to ensure that the
welfare of the employees has been accomplished by their employers. One of the reasons that
indicate the labor unions are still relevant is that they make the voices of the employees to be
heard by the employers. It is very difficult for an employer to consider and pay attention to the
issue presented by a single employee. However, if the case is presented by the labor union, the
employees will quickly address the issue from the fear of actions that may be taken by the union
organizations (Akash, 2018).
The labor unions are very important when it comes to salary negotiation and demand.
Whenever there is a salary issue among the employees, the employers will respond quickly if
