In the 21st century, electronic mail commonly known as e-mail has become a valuable
communication tool in the workplace and social life. With an e-mail address, you can send and
receive messages on the internet. Some immoral people are increasingly using e-mail to send
hate messages to others due to its quick delivery. Under United States constitutional law of
cybercrime Act, sending hate and threatening message to another person is a federal crime which
attracts a penalty of five years imprisonment or a fine or both applies ("INTERNET LAW Threats Sent via E-mail Constitute a Federal Crime", 2018).
The origin of the e-mail dictates the crime and violation of the message sent since
different governments have different cyber laws. To justify this, spamming is not a crime in
other states but it is a crime in Washington State. Thus, legal offense supported by e-mails and
the legal offense committed by sending e-mails are the two categories of e-mail crime. Email
