technology with deep roots in adolescent development. Teenagers nowadays interact intensely
with smartphones, social media sites, video games, and online educational platforms. Digital
devices serve important communication roles and educational functions, aiding individuals in
their identity development.1 This paper investigates how technology affects young adults who are
13 to 18 years old by analyzing their social and academic development alongside digital threats
such as cyberbullying and mental health issues.
Types of Technology Used by Adolescents
Young individuals access various technological tools that fulfill their educational needs
while carrying out recreational activities. A generation of teenagers carries smartphones and
