Racism, Let's talk about it!

The below video clip is of actor Michael Richards (Kramer from "Seinfeld") during a comedy show. During his feature, some individuals in the audience begin to act as hecklers. Instead of ignoring them, Richards unleashes a tirade against the perceived hecklers that was filled with racist comments. I will warn you, some of the language may be offensive.

What could be the cause of the Richards' tirade. Could it be that Richards' anger activated stereotypes about Blacks and this is the first thing he zeroed in on, in an effort to respond back to the hecklers? Then, generally speaking, share your thoughts on whether or not racial and ethnic stereotypes have changed? Why or Why not?
