Social Impacts of Nepal Earthquake

On 25th April 2015, Nepal was struck with a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that shattered
daily life in the mountainous country. 8, 857 citizens and non-citizens lost their lives and 22, 308
others were injured in the natural calamity. Furthermore, 602, 258 houses, 35, 000 classrooms
and 6, 431 government buildings were also destroyed by the earthquake. The destructions of
schools and other learning institutions left about one million learners without schools. The
