National Endowment for the Humanities (NEFT) is an independent agency in the United
States that was formed in 1965. It is governed by a chairman who has to have the okay from both
the president and the Congress. The efficiency if the agency has the approval of various research
fields including philosophy and literature among others. The agency has invested a lot in public
by offering significant graft and humanitarian programs. It then led to the creation of exhibits,
books, and films. It has also been crucial in various findings of sites examples the 1607
Jamestown fort in Virginia and Massachusetts (National Endowment for the Humanities). The
