Federal Bureaucracy and the Judicial System
Federal bureaucracy can be defined as the unelected, administrative body of the
executive branch. It is the main structure on which the government of the US depends upon
(Timberg, 2008). It has been divided into commissions, agencies, and departments. It has
three main functions in the forms of administration, implementation, and regulation. The
Congress passes laws and then sets out the guideline on it should be carried out.
Implementation is the actual putting of these policies into practice, the routine of the
bureaucracy forms the administration while the rules through which the state and the federal
programs operate and their making are termed as regulations. The federal bureaucracy is thus
a core component of the US government (Timberg, 2008). This paper discusses the features,
functions, and the nature of the federal bureaucracy and the judicial system. It also discusses
how the judiciary can control the power of the bureaucracy and any other branch of the
