  1. Evaluate the fundamental driving forces that shape the organizational environment of the selected company. Be sure to address the following: competing in a global marketplace, workforce diversity, ethics and morality, and technological innovation.
  2. Examine the selected company's specific practices or policies. Speculate on the major influences that these practices or policies have on individual and organizational outcomes.
  3. Determine which practices related to work attitudes in U.S. organizations are most strongly affected by diversity and suggest a strategy to address the effects.

comfortable environments and providing the employee with the best type of working space and
perks. The strategy by Google is termed as "competition through employee engagement" where
the organization has focused on and invested in the human resources as an asset that facilitates
the organizational growth. The focus on the human resource aspect of the business has been
associated with several benefits including facilitating creativity in the team. For a company such
as Google, its ability to derive new services, applications, tools, and platforms drives its growth
and popularity. As such, there is always a need for fresh ideas and customer targeted strategies.
Therefore, Google focuses on keeping their employees in contexts where they are best
poised to be creative. Additionally, Google has focused on the value impact that it creates on its
consumers. The rationale is that the organization has focused on its consumer relations while
maintaining creativity and innovation as a means of its marketing. Essentially, Google promotes
an employee-focused management, a diverse workforce and maintains a global outlook as it
attempts to keep its organizational culture conscious of the changing global trends.
Successful companies such as Google maintain an organizational culture that promotes
