Description
Topic: Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment
The geriatric assessment is a multidisciplinary assessment designed to evaluate an older person's functional ability, physical health, cognition and mental health, and socioenvironmental circumstances. Choose two elements (e.g. nutrition, urinary continence, functional assessment, etc.) of the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and identify a well-validated tool or instrument that can be used to evaluate each of the chosen elements. What would the results from each of these tools or instruments mean? How could you use these results to design a treatment plan for the identified element?
