Organizations stand to benefit from reducing stress and Improving employee well-being
because doing so increases performance, improves relationships, reduces absenteeism and sickness
rates. Illustrations by Tetrick and Winslow (2015) indicate that stress management techniques are
activities that organizations use in reducing stress and improving employee’s well-being through
dealing with the causes of stress and by reducing the stress impact on an employee. The aim of
the company is to offer stress management interventions to each individual through improving the
psychological well-being of each employee during work. This is done through the provision of
different types of intervention. Afterwards, they ensure these techniques work for the employees
as they eliminate anxiety, burnout, and depression which are key contributors to stress that limit
positive psychological well-being. Furthermore, dealing with these psychological well-being
factors ensures that the employee’s physical health and job attitudes are improved at the
organizational-level hence eliminating chances of illness and absenteeism. The techniques used
include meditation, cognitive behavioural therapy, relaxation, exercise programmes, mindfulness
training, and other techniques such as interpersonal skill development and education. These
techniques focus on emotion regulation that reduces or remove the causes of stress individual
employees. In some instances, the level of intervention requires a multimodal technique that
combines mindfulness exercises, relaxation, and CBT. Such an approach is used to increase the
