You are a manager at a call center. The company frowns upon phone calls and texting during work hours. You have looked the other way a few times, but it has started to get out of hand. You need to write a memo reminding everyone that private phone and text message use on company time is viewed as a violation of the company’s code of ethics.

Subject: Violation of the code of ethics of the company
Coworkers,
It has come to my notice and from my personal observation that a good number of you
use most time using private phone and text messaging, which is a violation of the code of ethics
of the company. This memo is a form of a reminder to utilize your office hours for work.
In regards to the latest article, the approximate daily cost of employees collectively using
private phone and text messaging rather than working is about $ 115 million that is calculated on
the basis of an average increase in daily time used on the private phone (Nobis and Lenz, 2016).
Considerably, if these approximations are applied to the employees in our office, an estimated
loss of a $658 loss will be observed weekly. Notably, this is a conservative approximate in
regards to the widespread discussion that happens about violating the code of ethics of a
company that negatively impact on the outcome of the company, which prevents us from beating
current high off...
