Explanation & Answer
Hello, please find attached the completed work.
To start with understanding the meaning of a learning community, it can be said that it is a
group of individuals who share common educational objectives and attitudes. These groups
meet semi-regularly with an aim of collaborating on classwork. Such communities are now
being utilized widely and especially in the high learning institutions for the cohort-based
interdisciplinary approach. Because of the benefits that are derived from being a member of a
learning community, no one wouldn’t wish to be part of one of these groups. (Epstein, 2018)
Some of the steps that I will utilize in establishing my role in the learning community that I
will belong to include the following;
•
Establishing the goals that I want to achieve as an individual
•
Seeking to know the goals of the target members
•
Evaluating the compatibility and the commonness of the group members’ goals with
my own goals- this will help me to know who is fit to become part of my learning
community...
