This week you will begin to develop your final project. For Milestone Three, you will explain the benefits of adopting a HRIS to manage employee information, Payroll, and Benefits/Compensation for ABC Corporation. Linked here is the Project Overview with grading rubrics. You will research at least TWO HRIS Vendors and explain the benefits and opportunities of each as they relate to the needs of ABC Corporation. Please do not copy/paste of information from the vendor websites.

This is a HRIS recommendation and vendor analysis that will be shared with ABC Corporation. As the HR Director, you will be using this information to complete your final HRIS proposal. Write a 2-4-page paper that includes the following paper headings, which are denoted in all caps.

  1. INTRODUCTION: Provide sufficient background on the topic and previews major points. Why is a HRIS needed? You may wish to research using resources from library databases (e.g., Business Source Complete via EBSCO, Business via ProQuest, ASP: Human Resource Management Online, and eBooks via EBSCO).
  2. HRIS TYPE: Now that you've conducted some research in Milestone Two assignment, you should have a good foundation to take the next step in preparing your business plan. You should have a good review of the scenario and have conducted some research on HRIS systems, and now your next step is to explain why ABC Corporation needs an employee information, Payroll, and Benefits/Compensation system. What are the benefits of implementing this type of HRIS?
  3. HRIS VENDOR CHOICE: Now you need to conduct research to find an HRIS vendor. Compare and contrast at least two HRIS vendors. After presenting and comparing both vendors, choose one vendor to use. Explain why you chose this vendor over another/others. Include the Web address and proper citations for the vendors compared. You must provide evidence and explanation to support your decision.
  4. CONCLUSION: The conclusion is logical, flows from the body of the paper, and reviews the major points.

The HRIS software is a primary tool for the Human Resources department because of the
benefits that it offers. ABC Company will benefit significantly from the utilization of the system
in its operations. Conducting personnel research and audit and HR accounting requires extensive
data about employees. The manual records used by the ABC company are inadequate in meeting
the informational needs of modern organizations. For instance, maintaining the manual records
and its shortcomings are the primary reason for the HRIS need. Tracking employees’ voluminous
data manually is not feasible manually. Additionally, the data needs to get updated in a timely
fashion which makes it labor intensive and costly. Transferring data manually also increases the
possibility of error that has an impact on data accuracy and reliability. The data entries may get
transferred to the wrong location which contributes to the confusion. Therefore, HRIS will
eliminate such problems arising from manual data entry system. HRIS stores each employee's
information and allows for easy reference. The system also helps in monitoring HR functions
and supplying data and returns to both the public and the government. HRIS is the game-changer
in organizations today.
The HR department of ABC Corporation will find the payroll and benefits system critical
in handling information and payment claims of their employees. Compensation is a vital process
in any organization. The HRIS software that constitutes compensation is crucial since employees
require money for their purposes and having a compensation system is useful in the acquisition
of top talent, retaining employees, and keeping them motivated. The HRIS selected for this
purpose allows for creating employees' profiles which will assist the HR department in seeing
their hourly rate and salary and the start date. The capability to view employees' compensation in



a single place helps in spotting discrepancies. HRIS also allows for the adjustment of the
employee compensation since it can be used in plugging the information into various areas where
it is relevant. An instance where an employee’s role changes, it requires other permissions and
codes for the job-the payroll needs adjustment to reflect the benefit and salary changes. HRIS
