Accredo is a specialty pharmaceutical and service provider for patients with chronic health conditions. Accredo provides specialty drugs that cost more than $500 per month, with the average being 10,000 a month. Accredo is a subsidiary of Express Scripts headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. Accredo promises to provide safe, prompt delivery of medications which are ordered and supplied through the company’s customer service department. The average Accredo customer does not have another option for receiving their medication and totally depends on the accuracy and professionalism of the call-center staff. Currently, the customer service representatives have a very poor track record in terms of helping those persons requesting medication from Accredo. This track record is a reflection of the many negative reviews received by the Accredo Health Group. In order to improve the image of this company, some changes need to take place with the company call center as well as with the customer service representatives. Whenever a company continues to receive negative press, they run the risk of losing their front-running position in the industry. Accredo cannot afford to be moved out of its leading position as there are other companies waiting to move into the industry’s first place position.
