Late adulthood can be described as the period from age 65 going forward. Seeing that the
person is in the period of aging, several issues may surface which may create difficulty for the
person to go about life. The changes from middle adulthood to late adulthood are clear, and they
may cause various issues for this person. Other than the issues or challenges that people at this
stage face, they also end up facing more challenges through the stereotyping that people have
against people in the late adulthood stage. To help understand the various aspects surrounding
late adulthood, ageism and related stereotypes will be discussed, how health and wellness are
promoted, the significance of social interactions and relationships, and attitudes in this stage also
come into play. This will help give a better understanding into how people in this stage view life
and how others who are not yet in this stage view life as well, and the impacts this has on them
