The key contribution in the great position of apple is their clever marketing. The clever
marketing of Apple led them to achieve this great success in the smartphone business in the
world. Apple organization wants to increase the market share for iphone8 in the world market.
For this, the internal analysis of the Apple organization is required to support the objective of
increasing market share for the iPhone 8. Apple started with creating hardware for computer and
landed on the mobile phone market becoming one of the most recognizable brands in their
respect (Apple Inc., 2014). Their “great product” strategy involves providing the customer with a
premium offering of a product that essentially defines quality. They create fewer variations of
products due to the reason that they have found their niche in the sense that they know which
products perform more and redesign the scope of its implementation over the current design.
Their packaging, offering, plans, and updates are what make their brand a favorite for people and
provide for the competition aspect for the other companies (Apple Inc., 2014).
1. Internal Environment
This requires the identification and analysis of the organization’s past financial
performance; marketing strategies; and marketing programs. The Apple organization is the
success model in the global economy, a lot of opportunities are present for the Apple
organization (Carlton & Annotations-Kawasaki, 1997). Apple can capture the low price end
market by offering low-cost products. Apple can explore product differentiation in the market by
utilizing their business competency. Apple can develop business plans to explore its brand image
in the global market. Thus based on this internal analysis, the Apple organization needs to plan to
increase the sales for their iPhone 8 in the global market (Apple Inc., 2014).
2. External Environment
The company has a worldwide presence with manufacturing units and the raw materials
suppliers in different parts of the world. So the climatic factors and the natural calamities can
have a huge impact on the business of the company. The business operations of the company can
be affected by natural disasters, whether as a result of climate change or otherwise, fire, labor
disputes, public health issues related to the climate change. During these events, the company
will have to face problems with the production and delivery of the products and the demand for
the products might go down due to the gap in the supply and demand situation. The partner
companies that have partnered with Apple will have to face the same consequences and fail to
deliver the products to their customers. This can have a significant impact on the company's
