The operational plan for Melisa Cates Non-Alcoholic Beverage plan comprises of the
owned equipment, leased equipment and the inventory.
The company owns a few crucial machine and equipment that are very crucial in daily
operations for the achievement of its goals. The two NAB mixers owned by the company are
very vital to the company as they are used to mix at least 200 gallons per each machine. These
add up to 400 gallons in unit operational time. Each of the mixers has a cost value of $28 500.
The two machines were therefore obtained at a total cost of $57 000. The mixers are beverage
filling machines with the capability of rinsing the bottles, filling them and capping the filled
bottles(In Atkinson, 2014). These three features make the mixer machine to be 3-in-1 regarding
functions. The machines are equipped with a constant temperature controlling systems that make
them applicable to filling hot or cold juices as well as tea and other beverages into the sixteen oz
bottles.
