OHIO HEALTH ORGANIZATION
OhioHealth Organization is world recognized non-profitable charitable firm that that
operates under the United Methodist Church and based in Ohio State in the United States. The
organization has a primary role in healthcare outreach to the members of the public in Ohio State.
The OhioHealth is active in serving the people and is competent in the global health sector which
has earned it six honorary rewards due to the commitment.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The OhioHealth Organization has made helped in improving the services offered in the
health sector. This has been achieved through the application of innovative methods to curb the
emerging issues in the field of health and medicine. The healthcare and services have also been
made effective as the medical team of the OhioHealth Organization provide medical services to
their clients both at the hospital and within their home compounds. The public has therefore
realized the need to seek medical attention thus making it easy to solve deal with the chronic
infections at early stages.
The cost of acquiring the medical services has also reduced significantly. OhioHealth firm
being a charitable foundation has opted to provide the medical services at relatively low fees as it
focuses on providing quality care at affordable prices that can be met by the lower class families.
The pay little for quality health services has promoted the move towards the attainment of
Sustainable Development Goals which puts better health provision as one of its critical missions
in uniform development of the globe.
Even though the organization has recorded several positive results, it has been
accompanied by various weaknesses (Ohio State Bar Association, 2011). The organization is a nonprofit firm; therefore, the level of competence in the health sector is relatively lower compared to
profitable healthcare firms. The charitable foundation indicates that the organization does not
operate for benefits; therefore, it becomes a big deal to accomplish all the rising issues using the
donations and grants which can't be sufficient.
OhioHealth Organization is based in Ohio State; therefore, do not offer services to a wide
variety of population thus lowering their degree of experience as they only handle citizens of their
state. The larger hospitals have a higher degree of community health orientation as they interact

with the community members in various occasions such as extensive treatment days. OhioHealth
being a small networked health offering facility fails to achieve the required degree of
consciousness about the communities.
Resources
OhioHealth Organization has been conducting its health operations for years and has
achieved a lot. The organization has over 200 ambulatory services that are essential in providing
the ambulance services to the clients whenever the need arises. The numerous ambulances make
it easy to move critically ill patients in time thereby saving more lives. The organization also has
several modern labs, including the forensic science labs that offer advanced services dealing with
complex health complications. The labs also serve some government-owned health facilities
thereby stabilizing the health sector regarding service delivery and fulfillment of the rising patients'
needs.
Important Internal Environmental Factors
Internal environmental factors are internally based and can be dealt with by the
organization. The strength of the medical team within the OhioHealth Organization must be
determined as this provides the trend on the progress of the firm's operations. The employees must
be motivated at all times and remain quality results-oriented when delivering the services to the
members of the public. The second internal factor that needs particular attention is the
organizational and operational status.
The organization should always keep updated and accurate records of the patients and
practice professional management procedures (IFIP WG5.7 International Conference on Advances in
Production Management Systems, Frick, & Laugen, 2012). The physical, financial and human resources

must often be considered as they are critical in the daily operations of the organization towards the
achievement of the targets and implementation of weak areas for better results and services.
External environment
The external environmental factors emanate from the outside, and the organization has no
or little control over them. These factors impact on the normal operations of the organization and
the firm has no devised ways of preventing them from occurring. The increased cases of chronic
and complex diseases among the people have made it difficult for the OhioHealth Organization to
carry out their operations as projected since such chronic illnesses require extensive resources to
deal with.
Competitor analysis
OhioHealth Organization, being a charitable health-focused firm, competes with OSU
Hospital and MT Carmel. The organization is also inactive competition on service delivery with
Quest Diagnostics, Mayo Clinic and Lab Corp that major on providing lab services to their clients.
The opportunities to deliver therefore exist within the organization and are contributed to by the
number of qualified physician’s available, testing method and the variety of services offered to the
public in general. OhioHealth Organization satisfyingly provides all services and is therefore
recommendable to the public.
The organizational is therefore competent in both the national and global health sector field
as they run reference labs that apply the forensic science to deal with complex health issues. The
only major challenge that may hinder the competence of the OhioHealth Organization when ranked
with major lab facility providers is that not all services are offered in OhioHealth's lab. This,

therefore, makes it difficult to compete with recognized labs such as Lab Corp and ...
