One of the barriers to the accessibility of primary care is the home environment. The
support that an individual received from the home environment influences whether they will seek
primary care support (O'Donnell, et al., 2016). The culture of the community is also a barrier to
access to health. Some communities believe in seeking spiritual power for health care. Some also
have to make decisions as a family when it comes to healthcare matters which delays or impedes
access to healthcare. Additionally, negative past face-to-face encounters in clinical settings
deterred especially the more vulnerable people in the society who feel judged from accessing
healthcare.
Barriers to accessing health care can be solved by the use of mobile clinics (Miller,
