Description
Descriptive statistics and graphical data presentations formulate the initial phase of statistical analysis. With these tools, the industrial/organizational (I/O) professional is able to describe the data as well as begin to determine appropriate further statistical analyses that can be used to interpret the data.
Using the online library resources, select an empirical research article from a volume of The Journal of Applied Psychology published within the last five years:
- Briefly describe the article.
- Identify the descriptive statistics used.
- Describe how the descriptive statistics were presented (graphs, tables, pie charts, etc.).
- Explain how the descriptive statistics added value to the research.
Write a 3- to 5-page paper in a Microsoft Word document that addresses the items listed above. Make sure you employ proper grammar and spelling and apply current APA standards for writing style to your work.
