For this assignment, you will construct a paper that contains eight reflective essays pertaining to what you learned from the Leader’s Self-Insight activities in Chapters 3 and 4 (i.e., Chapter 3 contains three Leader’s Self-Insight activities, and Chapter 4 has five of them). Each reflective essay should be a well-thought-out paragraph of at least 200 words, focusing on how the leader’s self-sight contributes to the learner’s leadership development. In addition, each reflective essay should expand upon a concept that pertains to the subject matter contained in the corresponding Leader’s Self-Insight activity. Leader’s Self-Insight Activity 3.1
Many leadership styles are effective since leaders behave situationally. It means that to
lead effectively, leaders have to regulate their leadership approach dependent on a range of issues
such as task, structure, context and the environment. As a leader, I would ensure that all members
are accountable for their performance with the aim of fostering competition. Each member in my
group would be assigned a specific task, and I would ensure that all members are empowered and
provide support when needed. I would focus on building relationships with my followers to
establish trust and a pleasant atmosphere to promote productivity. I will also be concerned with
people's feelings and welfare and go out of my way to ensure that I implement a supportive
working environment for all members. My leadership style will be focused on relationship
behavior rather than the task behavior to ensure that I develop the follower's skills and provide
consistent support. I would also empower my followers to adopt the best strategies that will help
them make good decisions and effectively solve problems in their day to day activities. My ideal
leadership situation is letting everyone in my group contribute to the success of the organization
which is described as a leader-member relations situation.

Situational theory illustrates that a leader can embrace either any of the four leadership
