Ernst and Young v. Morris
The Ernst and Young v. Morris was a case which filled by two employees, Stephen
Morris and his colleague Kelly McDaniel against a firm, Ernst and Young. The company had set
clear outlines that its employees were required to sign an agreement which mandated any claim
that was related to the work being done by the employees to be submitted to individual
arbitration. According to Ernst and Young v. Morris (2018), the agreements offered by the
company contained a waiver that was against any concerted action thus limiting the employees
on either initiating or joining any class of action or proceedings that are of collective actions
agist the form at any forum.
Ernst and Young required that any employee who had a case to bring it forward in a
separate proceeding. With the two employees feeling dissatisfied with the agreements being
