Description
My question for this unit, then, is: How would you design a sculpture for the visually impaired, one that appealed to the senses other than sight? What materials would you choose? Would those materials provide a range of textures and temperatures, while still standing up to constant handling? Could you possibly depict a landscape, an emotion, or a historical event solely through touch?
In your first post for this unit, you should pick a subject, emotion, or historical event to depict in a sculpture for the visually impaired, and describe what your sculpture would look like. Be sure to include as much detail as possible.
BUT--and this is very important--don't tell us what your subject, emotion, or historical event is. Just describe it as well as you can, being sure to include descriptions of touch and texture in your description. I expect your CyberSculpture descriptions to be the required two in a half paragraphs in length.
