There is truth in the saying that at times nature is inevitable here on earth although the
current waves of things are sending a warning to the way children are brought up by their
parents. Richard Louv's in his book Last Child in the Woods stresses on the need to let
children interact with the outside world and get to interact with nature as this shapes their life
to a significant extent. The same idea is brought up by other researchers who see the need of
letting children interact with life outside their doors. Richard Louv puts it clear that lack of
nature is detrimental to children as nature gives them a way in which they can process their
feelings and work out problems. The paper will offer a discussion in support of the Richard
Louv opinion that nature is necessary for the development of children.
