Introduction
The big data technology is changing the society. Before the incident was confined in the
universities, however, today big data has a major role across many industries influencing how
organizations operate, attract new clients, and streamline their strategy of business or
governance. Big data is a large amount of information, which is collected concerning persons
using many devices. It is data sets, which aggregated, searched, and analyzed with other sets of
data. Big data was first developed in the US in 1965 with the intention to store millions of tax
returns and fingerprint sets. The records collected were transferred to the magnetic tapes and
stored in the central position. France adopted the big data technology because it becomes hard
for the country to track personal health information (Natarajan, 2017). There was instilled
cultural fear amongst the lovers of good wine, fine cheese, and cigarettes which the data
collected by the companies and government might be applied against them to eradicate their
valued French Universal health insurance.
I believe the ministry of health in France wanted to seize the opportunity brought about
