Access to quality and affordable health care services in remote Australia including
Western Australia, Queensland, Northern Territory, and South Australia are limited because of
several factors that are beyond the control of key stakeholders in the sector. While the strategic
health plan of the government has continued to focus on the resolution of the issues that result in
the unequal distribution of equal services in the country, the analysis of the incidence and
prevalence rate of chronic diseases showed that the efforts are not yielding the desired impacts
(AIHW, 2015). Rheumatic heart disease of the chronic illness that is affects the adult and
children population of these areas without the existence of an integrated control strategy for
improving access to the required services for its effective management. An evaluation of the
factors surrounding this important health issues would provide the information for developing
the framework for the strategies initiatives that can be used to resolve the problems and improve
the quality of life of the citizens.

Rheumatic heart disease diseases occur due to the reoccurrence of the autoimmune
infection that is caused by damages to the heart valves including the mitral and aortic ones,
which is escalated by the presence of Group A streptococci in the system. The disease is one of
