1. Dress down or professional attire
As a teacher, I would dress in a professional manner. I would not disturb my peace
paying for the dress down, despite being beneficial to another person. According to the code of
conduct of a teacher, it is required that one must wear an official dress for him/her to look
presentable. Also, remember that the evaluation is an official day and that the teachers need to be
satisfactory. A teacher must wear a professional dress since you have to set a good example to
the students you are teaching and ensure that they cope with the excellent dressing mode from
their teacher. Using the professional dress will also avoid the much expenses that will be accrued
as a result of paying the down dress (Hayes, 2013). The supervisor can use the down dress as a
way of downgrading the teacher. Therefore, it should be avoided under all means by the teacher.
2. Mixed messages
The mixed messages are the ones that appear to be contradicting the receiver. The
message might be inconsistent or unclear since the receiver might fail to understand the motive
or the intention of the sender. The mixed signal is likely to confuse the receiver due to the failure
to understand. An example of a mixed message that I have ever received is from a friend. The
friends’ message was that he wanted us to remain as ‘just friends,’ and then he kept on calling
