WHY IS THIS SUBJECT OF IMPORTANCE TO US NOW?

List all facts, reasons, incidence, evidence or examples and details that SHOW us how the speaker is using this appeal effectively.

List your quotes, use signal phrases or integrate them into your own sentence, and explain the significance of that quote.

Section 2: Logos

You may include the overlap of logos and ethos here as well. It may be a separate paragraph or not.

Discuss the logic behind what the speaker is presenting. For instance, most of us know logically that to deny big problems makes them bigger. What makes sense or follows steps in a process? You may include overlap with ethos here as well. It may be a separate paragraph or not.

List all facts, reasons, incidence, evidence or examples and details that SHOW us how the speaker is using this appeal effectively.

List your quotes, use signal phrases or integrate them into your own sentence, and explain the significance of that quote.

Section 3: Pathos

You may include the overlap of logos and ethos here as well. It may be a separate paragraph or not.

Discuss all the ways the speaker uses pathos to persuade. The speaker usually has an emotional interest in what they are discussing as well and you may discuss that as well. .

List all facts, reasons, incidence, evidence or examples and details that SHOW us how the speaker is using this appeal effectively. This includes choices in subject matter and how incidents are related to the audience.

List your quotes, use signal phrases or integrate them into your own sentence, and explain the significance of that quote.

DO NOT FORGET: The speaker is communicating through multimodal means. You must discuss the video itself and what is being communicated through more than just speech.

Conclusion:

Is the speaker successful? Did the appeals work--was one or more better at convincing in your particular video. Has your awareness heightened in any way? Are you persuaded to take some personal responsibility in some way or offer help? How does thinking about this information help you in a real way. DO NOT JUST REPEAT THE THESIS:)

Almost everything Saret uses logos to support his claim queting many reseachers and studies. This makes his rhetoric and his overall argument more persuasive. yes! The video was uploaded on march 22,2016. Violence and video games have been a issue for a while now but more so recently due to the progression of technology and an increase in the realism of video games. In this day and age when a adolescent or a child commits a crime of any significance, and he so happens to play games, parents make the claim that somehow the two are related. This entire video was created with the intention of shattering that belief and showing that the above statement is false. Since the author is a current student and made the video for a class it is certain that the intended audience was his classmates however after posting it on youtbue it is available to the public. With a video IS that is mostly informative and evidenece based no matter who youare-the video can be persuasive, m a mainly for the reason that he supports himself with evidence. However, the speaker speaks monotonous voice which throughout the video witch might scare off or bore potential listeners. The author uses Rhetoric in his video to persuade his audience that violent video games aren't responsible for societal violence. The author of the video establishes his ethos by showing citing qualified researchers, uses vivid visuals to show pathos, and uses clear well supported thoughts to form logos. While Rhetoric is the art of communication this video demonstrates that rhetoric can be supported not just in words but visualy as wel. The video is very persuasive and while I'm already convinced im sure he can convince any new viewers. Okay - o. good, Marcelo Structure is good but more re: What happens in video. You need to be more specific about the images being used Revise
