The growing economy has given technology an opportunity to make a great impact on the
lives of the population as all the sectors use these new advancements. Big data is a great part of
technological improvement as it involves the storage of large volumes of information be it
professional or personal for easy reference and retrieval. Everything going on in the business and
economic world is, therefore, part of the big data as every company has taken strategies to
include computer software and internet in their operations. The extent to which big data is
controlling the world can be compared to the notion of Big Brother whereby the society had a
fictional leader with the ability to see and know people’s plans and ideas.
