A literary analysis
In this story, the author unravels how man confronts a rough winter experience in the
forest while at the same time ducking a plethora of obstacles that rock his way. His solutions to
the problems that he faced were out of what he thought to the best alternatives in case problems
of a similar kind as opposed to tailoring the solutions to fix the problems at hand. In other
words, he failed to think beyond the ordinary in terms of finding solutions. In this essay, I will
establish that man is better equipped to handle nature with flexibility as opposed to many of the
solutions that we see in the story. Many of the problems that he had to overcome were mainly
due to negligence and complacency (Gale, 2015). He thought of himself as seasoned enough to
overcome all of them, an idea that flopped big time.
