Boeing stands out as one of the most successful companies in the airline industry. The company
operates in multiple countries and international markets across the globe.
Further, the country manufactures and offers a wide variety of products which, in the end, try to
satisfy the needs of their customers located across the globe. As a result of increased competition
from the rivals, Boeing initiated and implemented a p[lan to enter the global market. The
company through strategic marketing and supply chain management today stands at a better
position in the market in regards to the production and delivery of high-quality products like the
famous 787 aircraft.
Introduction
Boeing in the recent past introduced a new approach and strategy in regards to the
management of the corporate supply chain. The company boasts a lot of clients located all over
the globe. Boeing started from the ground and due to the improved sales in its products increased
in size to the current status. The company after its establishment in 1916 assumed the name
Pacific Aero Products Company. After about 12 months, the management saw its better to
rename the company thus gaining the name Boeing Airplane Company. The company at first
enjoyed improved sales from the products that it produced then. Additionally, the company also
managed to purchase the local and regional airline firms with the aim of entering and
maintaining a bigger market. Other than the fact that the company enjoyed improved sales in the
1920`s, Boeing started to feel the impacts brought about by increased levels of rivalry in the
market.
Based on the fact that the company represented a fast-rising establishment in the industry,
