Policy is a term used to refer to a formal decision or an action plan that has been taken into
action to achieve a certain goal.
Examples
State
Criminal justice; for drug policy, this policy entails giving an upper hand to most of users of
drugs. Some drugs may not be considered illegal whereas they possess great danger.
Culture and society: abortion – it’s worth noting that abortion is permitted within this policy yet
it can cause danger to the life of the one going through the process. This policy needs a revision.
Local policies
Education, this policy entails a system of education that impact knowledge to students at the
theoretical stage more than practical skills. A few adjustments can be made.
Banking policy –this interrelates people and their money. It aims at creating an effective control
system of money within the banking sector.
Federal
Social security- this entails workers having a saving system which will help them have security
of their money in the future. This policy is good since it helps everyone in any working

Investment policy- this governs formation of small societies with aim of saving money. It helps
maintain security on investment.

Social factors like interaction of the indigenous Americans, and the foreigner has had a major
effect on immigration policies. This is because most of the foreigners have brought congestion in
the country hence causing social crimes and attacks. For instance there are many suicide
bombers within America but they are of foreign descent. In the political, the current president
Donald trump has put measures to curb immigration from countries that do not have good
diplomatic relations with United States. These countries include Russia, Saudi Arabia and North
Korea.
Environmental factors include, weather, change of climate and also flooding issues that have
become common nowadays. United States has become a frequent flooding zone like evidenced
with the recent hurricane Harvey in Texas and Houston. These challenges have scared many
people from migrating to America.

The reasons why workplace policies are not effective is because at first, these are just but rules
put in place which may not be implemented to the latter. One of the policy advocates for no
smoking at work place which is rather a good policy but the culture at work place negates its
application. Secondly other work policies include harassment at work place. This policy need to
be reviewed since it can only be affected when the character of people has been changed.
The remedy for this is coming up with a proper methodology of impacting people’s character,
giving employees free time and setting targets of work that will make them busier. This will help
them not have time to waste and engage in wrong behaviors.
Part 3
System model is a system of interdisciplinary study which helps gives ability to put concepts of
business in place with a given technique and similar flow pattern. Inputs that affect system model
include laws and media system through the research and information they give to the public
concerning a given policy. Output includes the outcomes of putting some policies in place. For
