Art Review: The Flying Swan
Description
The name of the art discussed in this art review paper is the flying swan. It was captured
and edited by David Yarrow. The picture was taken on January 17th at Lake Kussharo in
Northern Hokkaido, Japan at around 8:30 am (Yarrow 2). The artwork is found in Samuel Lynne
Galleries in Dallas, Texas, United States, where I visited on October 10, 2018. The art is about
52 by 61 inches. The art represents a swan standing but yet its wings are spread wide apart and
located at the far right side of the picture. 95% of the picture is covered with white color starting
from the swan itself, then the snow, the clouds, and the lake itself reflect the white color of the
snow and clouds. The picture looks dreamier than a reality from the cocktail of white.
