Challenges of a Diverse Workforce
Diversity has become a common aspect in today’s world. It means or describes people
who come from different places in the world, and it's easy to identify them by their unique
characteristics (Lawrence & Weber, 2017). The workforce is not a stranger to the effect of
diversity. Dealing with a diverse workforce can prove to be challenging due to the many
differences involved. One of the challenges faced in a diverse workforce is that managers have a
hard time understanding the gaps that the workforce has (PointeCast, 2007). It further leads to a
misunderstanding of other people's opinions since it's hard to look at things in their perspective.
