Mental models define one’s understanding of the world, beliefs, socialization,
education, values and how one organizes ideas. The mental models are the critical
determinants of success primarily because they govern strategic planning and implementation
of business ideas, which can either inhibit or motivate success. They are canvassed in the
assumptions or generalizations we make that often become ingrained in us and unknowingly
control the way we understand situations and the actions we take (Magzan, 2012). Generally,
each person has mental models that most often is unaware of, and ones that control how such
