RELIABILITY IN PSYCHOLOGY
Reliability refers to the consistency of a research study or a measuring test. When a test is
reliable it shows a high positive correlation. For every test the situations and participants are
different hence it is hard to get the same exact results every time but a strong positive correlation
between the results of the same test indicates reliability.

TYPES OF RELIABILITY
Internal Consistency Reliability;
This type of test assesses the consistency of results across items within a test. It is a measure of
how well the items on a test measure the same construct or idea.
