Literary Elements Utilized in the work of Thomas Jefferson
Speech and writing are one of the things that most popular personalities are good at. The
name of Thomas Jefferson comes third in the list of the men who have headed the United States
of America. The man who was born in 1743 left the earth with a lot of achievements to his name.
Besides coming up with very useful methods of making the nation a better place, he made
several contributions to the world of literature. Some of his works include letters to Edward
Carrington, James Madison, and Richard Price, The Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, the
Exchange with the Danbury Baptists, The Draft of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom
and The Declaration of Independence (Washington). The following piece examines the literary
elements indicated in one of his writings, “The Draft of the Virginia Statute for Religious
