An internship is a work-related learning experience that introduces an individual as a
student or recent graduate to the work environment associated with individual academic
education, training, and interests. An internship provides a person with an opportunity to build
ones résumé of professional work experience, form networks and alliances in the areas of
individual specialization, and grasp how a person coursework is preparing an individual to enter
the chosen field. Internships are offered in a host of career tracks, including medicine,
architecture, science, engineering, law, business, and technology (Liang 2006).
Therefore, the in general value of an internship practice is that it will supply a student
with chances to learn the expectations, roles, and behaviors of a workplace setting, and in doing
