Lonnie Franklin Jr was born on August 30, 1952, and was also known as ‘the grim
sleeper’ because of taking a break of 14 years from his crimes, 1988-2002, was. He was a serial
killer from Los Angeles, California who had been killing people from 1985-2007. The
justification of his killing was taking revenge on his mother which explains why most of his
victims were females who were sexually assaulted. He was arrested in 2010 and charged with
many counts of murder. After long sessions of courts and analyzing the multiple counts of
murder Franklin was linked to, the court found him guilty of ten different accounts of murder,
